Penguins F Jake Guentzel recuperating from ankle surgical procedure

Pittsburgh Penguins ahead Jake Guentzel is recuperating from proper ankle surgical procedure, the staff introduced Friday.

The process was once carried out Wednesday at Dual Towns Orthopedics in Minnesota.

The 28-year-old winger will likely be reevaluated in 12 weeks. The Penguins’ first preseason sport is Sept. 28 and their regular-season opener is Oct. 10 at Chicago.
